Found a great website/blog for webcomic fans called FLEEN. A lot of the articles are posted by Gary Tyrrell, so I assume Gary is the owner. Within Gary’s latest post about the going’s on in the webcomic world, he mentions an article over at Kevin Kelly’s awesome site. The post or article is called 1,000 True Fans and basically says that in order to support your web business, you want to shoot for 1,000 loyal fans. They are the ones that will buy your merch. Tons of hits are great, but regular readers will help pay your rent.
